TIPS!

Here are some things to keep in mind throughout the weekend

– Wardlaw/McCormicks LOVE to toast!

– We also cry at the sentimental drop of a hat, so don’t worry if all the bridesmaids are creating a small river below their feet or the bride has no eye makeup left after the ceremony

– We will be doing a SING-A-LONG of the Muppet’s Classic “Rainbow Connection” at the end of the ceremony, so please practice if you’re not familiar and we can’t wait to hear all your lovely voices!

– Joyce McCormick (libbys grandmother that wrote the wonderful poem you received in your invite!) has dementia and gets upset and overwhelmed easily. Please don’t be alarmed. She’ll be smiling again in no time.

– Women should wear flats or wedges to avoid sinking into the ground

– As much as we try to make this a safe and comfortable place for our guests, it is still a working ranch. Please be aware of cacti, ants, bugs and animals during your stay

– We want everyone to enjoy themselves, but please DO NOT DRIVE if you have been drinking to excess. These country roads can be tricky and we value your safety above anything else! We will arrange to ferry people back and forth in one fashion or another if you’d like to leave your car at the hotel and drink to your content, please do. We are specifically shuttling to and from the La Quinta in Cedar Park

– Stay as late as you like! Libby & Chris are the ultimate night owls so please party the night away! We will have a midnight pizza snack

– Drink lots of water! We’ll have plenty of water out for everyone, just please remember to stay hydrated.

– For anyone attending the Dutch Breakfast on Sunday – please bring a meat, cheese or bread to contribute. Other items are also welcome!

– If you have a fire pit you could bring so we can have a few fires going at the barn, let me know!

– Please bring a pumpkin!

– I’ll be adding more tips as I think of them so check back here!
